When investing your money, it is important to protect your interests. It is a legal requirement for property investment businesses to be registered and insured appropriately.
The following must apply:
- Membership of a property redress scheme such as The Property Ombudsman (TPO) or the Property Redress Scheme (PRS).

- Registration with the Information Commissioner's Office under data protection regulations.

- Registration with HMRC for Anti Money-laundering supervision.

- Proof of relevant professional indemnity and public liability insurances.
